A fresh start

Well...I have a house full of sicklies.  My husband, Justin, is sick and Kayley and Blake are sick.  All with sinus infections and a horrible cough.  I am starting to get a runny nose so I hope I am not going to come down with this as well.  I have been so busy with school and my sick family that I did not workout yesterday or today so far.  I have two tests next week and a lot of reading to do...really hard to do with a sick two year old or a two year old period.  I made the potato soup last night instead of the other night (I can't remember when I said I was going to make it).  There were no leftovers.  So needless to say, it was a hit.  I will be making that again in the future.  Tomorrow I will start something new...I will drink only water.  It fills you up and helps you get rid of excess water.  No breads, rice, or pastas instead eat fruits and veggies.  Do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day.  Do three sets of twelve crunches, squats, and lunges every other day.  I am going to try to get more sleep.  This is hard for me because I have homework and I need the time to myself after the girls go to bed.  Take daily vitamins and start taking healthe trim.  No more Dr Peppers for me!!  This is only to help me get to my goal weight.  I know this is not realistic for me and my family.  I would like to only drink cokes when we go to dinner or on special occasions after I get to my goal weight.  I know that I will go back to eating rice, bread, and pasta.  I would still need to exercise daily to keep the weight off but not as intensely as I need to get it off.  I think I am going to set small gaols to help me out instead of focusing so much on the huge number.  I will think about it and post what I have decided is realistic later.

On to other important things, I am trying to get the girls in the same room.  They won't share a bed (Blake likes her space) so I am going to have to buy another bed.  I am thinking of just buying a toddler bed for Blake and putting Kayley in the twin.  Save me some money right now.  I can just use the crib mattress.  This is something I have not mentioned, but we are moving to Oklahoma City in less than two years.  The girls are going to go from seeing their Grannie everyday to less than once a month.  It is going to be a nightmare at first but we will get into a routine and they will get used to it.  I just need them sleeping in the same room because we may have to move into an apartment at first.  I don't want to make too many changes all at once.  The less stressful it is for them the less stressful it is for me.  I have a TinkerBell toddler bedding set that I "used" for Kayley that Blake can use and a twin TinkerBell (again for Kayley) that can be used for the twin bed.  I am going to start decorating it this weekend.  I will post pictures when it is all done!  I am so excited; I can't wait!!
